What to expect when ordering a custom glass piece…

 First Contact

To start your project, get in contact!

Stop by, call us at 330-253-5888, or email Mary at mary@akronglassworks.com.

We do like to have an in-person discussion about your project. The meeting can be at our shop, or we can set up a time to stop by your space.

This meeting will entail size, location, concept, style, and design.

Don’t worry if your idea is vague!

You should get your quote about a week after our first meeting.

Design

A deposit will be needed to start working on your design.

With all of the information, we will begin with some sketches to figure out the design.

Once we get the sketches to your satisfaction, we will begin the final drawing.

At the second appointment, you will review your full-sized drawing and pick out your glass.

Making

At this stage, we will begin making your custom window.

The process can take up to a month, so please let us know about any deadlines for that first meeting.

The Finish Line

As soon as your window is complete, we will get in touch for pickup or installation.
